  • Designing and proposing the structural system of the construction in accordance with the architectural concept;
  • Developing projects, as part of a project team, for all design phases in compliance with current regulations;
  • Preparing the technical documentation required for the design process (measurements, surveys, documentation for intervention works, feasibility studies, documentation for construction permits, technical projects, details, quantity lists);
  • Drafting projects in compliance with the requirements stipulated in the current legislation;

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Faculty of Civil Engineering – specializing in Civil and Industrial Constructions;
  • Experience in designing and calculating concrete, masonry, and metal structures;
  • Experience with structural calculation software – Autodesk Robot/Etabs/Sap or similar;
  • Ability to perform calculations for the sizing of structural elements;
  • General knowledge of the project execution phases;
  • Strong knowledge of current construction standards and regulations;
  • Ability to estimate the timeline for completing a structural design project;
  • Experience in preparing documentation for all project phases (Feasibility Study, Technical Project, Detailed Execution);
  • Experience in providing technical assistance during project implementation from the designer's side;

Requirements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Trade School or Bachelor degree in a discipline related to construction or renewable energy, engineering or architecture is preferred.
  • Experience in Quality Management within the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong team building skills.
  • Experience in contractual documentation and technical specifications.
  • Knowledgeable of Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering and constructability within renewable energy plants.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, environmental and safety requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively cross functionally and with multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Three years of experience in a discipline related to construction and/or renewable energy.
  • Estimating or site auditing experience is preferred.
  • Photovoltaic installation experience is preferred.
